Bertolli Meals

If any of you have been racking up register rewards at Walgreens, here's a great way to put them to use.

They have a deal going where if you purchase certain items, you will get register rewards. I am keying in on the Bertolli Frozen Chicken Dinner. The deal is: buy 1 get $2 rr, buys 2 or more get $5 rr.

Here's what I got today. I bought 2 packages of Bertolli for $12 for both. I had 2 coupons for $1.50 off = $3 off. I also had register a $5 register reward that I have from the previous week.

So, I got 2 Bertolli Dinners and sheet of posterboard for $13 before taxes.
After my coupons, I paid out of pocket: $5.40 AND I got $5 back in register rewards. It's like paying .40, and I will have $5 toward my next purchase. To sweeten this deal even more-if you have any rebate money on your gift card for doing any online rebates, this would be a great way to get your cost down even more. We love Bertolli at our house.

I did this deal twice and will be doing it 2 more times tomorrow using my rebate gift card. SWEET!

****Note: Walgreen's does not allow you to turn around and use the $5 register reward you just got on 2 more Bertollli Dinners. You can use it on another promotion or other items, but not on the same promotion. If you try it, the machine will not print out your register rewards.
